Meeting venue:

The CIE Skydeck on the 11th floor of the Harper Court building (1452 E 53rd St, Chicago, IL 60615) (MAP). The Skydeck has a large meeting room, a lobby reception area and an outdoor patio – all with a phenomenal view of the city.

Hotel:

We have reserved a block of rooms for the night of  Oct 16 at the Hyatt Place Hotel (5225 S. Harper Ave. Chicago, IL 60615) – just across the street from the Harper Court building. The rooms are available at $189 per night for up to two people. The cost for PIs and co-Is will be covered by the Admin Core.

If you prefer to stay in downtown Chicago, you should plan on using Uber/taxi (~$25) or public transit to get to and from the meeting. Details about getting to the University of Chicago campus from airports and from downtown can be found here.

Transportation:

Chicago is serviced by 2 major airports, Midway and O’Hare; Midway, which is a major hub for Southwest Airlines (www.southwest.com) is closer to the University of Chicago.
