• Cellular Biology of Addiction course by CSH is open for applications

The Cellular Biology of Addiction Course that is organized by the Cold Spring Harbor Meeting and Courses program will take place in Gonville & Caius College, University of Cambridge, UK,  July 31 – August 7, 2016.

This course will provide an integrated view of current and novel research on neuroadaptive responses to addiction, foster discussion on collaboration and integration, provide critical information needed to construct a model of addiction as a disease and novel molecular targets for biological treatments. Furthermore, the knowledge and insights derived from the course may have practical applications in the development of advanced approaches for addiction treatment. These findings could potentially contribute to the enhancement of existing therapies and the identification of novel strategies for addressing addiction at its core. The course’s comprehensive coverage may find relevance in various addiction treatment settings, including detox center, where a nuanced understanding of neuroadaptive responses and molecular targets is crucial for designing effective and tailored interventions.
