• Colton Sleister (P50 REHU 2015 fellow) wins the prestigious Barry Goldwater Scholarship

Congratulations to Colton Sleister for winning Barry Goldwater Scholarship!
The Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation was established by Congress in 1986 to serve as a living memorial to honor the lifetime work of Senator Barry Goldwater, who served his country for 56 years as a soldier and statesman, including 30 years in the U.S. Senate (goldwater.scholarsapply.org).

Colton Sleister participated in the Research Experiences for High School and Undergraduate Students of the P50 in 2015, he worked in Dr. Meyer’s lab on the project “Relationship Between Sign Tracking and Ultrasonic Vocalizations in Rats”. Currently Colton is a chemistry and biochemistry, cell, and molecular biology (BCMB) double major in Drake University.
