• Monica Jablonski received R01 from the NEI for glaucoma research in HS rats

Dr. Monica Jablonski (Department of Ophthalmology in the College of Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center) received R01EY021200 from the National Eye Institute to study glaucoma-related traits in HS rats, titled “Genetic Modulators of Glaucoma.” Dr. Jablonski has been collaborating with the P50 Center; she received eyes from HS rats. This grant will fund phenotyping of the large set of samples and performing GWAS for glaucoma-related traits. Dr. Palmer is a co-investigator on this grant.
